Throughout September, design takes center stage in France through the France Design Week event, organized from September 7 to 28 throughout France. This event is led by APCI – Promotion du Design, and aims to give visibility to the diversity and vitality of French design practices. Specifically, the objective is to open the doors of design to as many French people as possible.
More than 350 events have received the France Design Week label—events organized by numerous stakeholders (schools, companies, studios, agencies, etc.) taking all forms: exhibitions, conferences, open houses, design studio tours, workshops, etc.
This edition of France Design Week was accompanied by the launch of a platform that will list all events. Visitors will be able to select events near them using an interactive map. And speaking of which, we decided to give you a brief focus on events organized in our beloved South region.
