Considerable development, experimentation, and engineering work were necessary to create this designer armchair, which has become a signature piece for Note Design Studio.

The Sancal Remnant Armchair, a creation of Note Design Studio

Note Design Studio is a studio founded in 2008 and located in Stockholm. This is not surprising when one sees some of their creations, such as the Sancal Remnant armchair, but also its older sibling, the Core 3-seater sofa, also for Sancal. The story goes that after designing the Core sofa, the team set about creating the armchair using the leftover fabric pieces.

Covering a diversity of disciplines ranging from architecture, interiors, and product design—to strategy, graphic design, and artistic direction—the team always seeks to engage the senses, evoke genuine emotion, and stimulate meaningful dialogue in their creations.
