The Opening of a Molteni&C / Dada X Jbonet Showroom
The Molteni Group is one of the leading Italian contemporary furniture groups, particularly renowned for residential furniture under the Molteni&C brand and kitchen furniture under the Dada brand. As long-standing Jbonet partners, it is only natural that Molteni&C / Dada is inaugurating its first Shop in Shop on the French Riviera this month within the Jbonet Showroom. An opportunity to discover Italian excellence in kitchens and dressing rooms, and to benefit from Jbonet’s expertise through our designer exclusively dedicated to this unique retail space.
Molteni&C: Craftsmanship and Technological Quality
It was in 1934 that Angelo Molteni laid the foundations of the brand, located in the Brianza valley north of Milan, the cradle of the Italian wood and furniture industry.
Over the years, Molteni’s approach has been twofold. On one hand, maintaining sophisticated artisanal capability through expert knowledge of materials, product customization, and meticulous attention to finishes… On the other hand, continuously developing technological research by experimenting with innovative solutions.
Molteni furniture thus combines the craftsmanship of a long artisanal tradition with exceptional technological quality.
Dada, Design at the Heart of the Kitchen
The Dada story begins in 1926 with the birth of an artisanal carpentry workshop founded by Angelo Garavaglia. In the 1950s, as the company grew, it moved from artisanal design to serial production of cabinets and kitchens. It was in 1972 that the brand definitively adopted the name Dada and surrounded itself with the most prestigious designers and architects of the time, including Angelo Cortesi and Giovanni Offredi, as well as renowned graphic designers and photographers.
Joining the Molteni Group in 1979, the brand quickly established itself in the field of high-end kitchens, to the point of receiving a special mention at the Compasso d’Oro in 1987 for its Futura kitchen, whose distinctive upper element remains one of the brand’s flagship products to this day.
Starting in March 2022, a 50 m² retail space exclusively dedicated to Molteni&C / Dada
In the heart of Nice, in the immediate vicinity of the Jbonet Arson showroom, you will now find residential furniture and an exhibition of kitchens and dressing rooms by Molteni&C / Dada. Our expert Jbonet designer will be present every day to advise you on the design of your spaces and transform your home into an exceptional place combining Italian excellence in tradition and modernity.
